Trailer: Toei and Fathom Present the U.S. Theatrical Debut of 'Dragon Ball DAIMA




 Toei Animation and Fathom Events have exciting news for Dragon Ball fans: following the series' subtitled debut on October 11, U.S. audiences will get an exclusive chance to see the world premiere of the English dub for Dragon Ball DAIMA in theaters this November. This limited-time, three-day event will give fans the opportunity to be among the first to experience the new English dub, with screenings across hundreds of U.S. theaters on November 10, 11, and 12.


The Dragon Ball DAIMA English Dub Premiere will feature the first three episodes of the series, offering an early look at this much-anticipated addition to the Dragon Ball universe. Toei Animation has also released the first official trailer for the English dub, giving fans a sneak peek at what’s to come.




Tickets for the event will go on sale starting October 11 through Fathom Events and participating theater box offices. Fans can check Fathom’s website for a full list of participating locations, though theater availability may change leading up to the event.

Dragon Ball DAIMA was officially revealed to the world during the Dragon Ball Special Panel at New York Comic Con on October 12, 2023, marking a monumental moment for the franchise’s 40th anniversary. Originally launched in 1984 with Akira Toriyama’s groundbreaking manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, the franchise has sold an astonishing 260 million copies worldwide.


Produced by Toei Animation, Dragon Ball has become a global cultural phenomenon, spanning six episodic series, including Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Z Kai, Dragon Ball Super, and now Dragon Ball DAIMA. The franchise’s expansive universe also includes 21 feature films, video games, trading cards, and a vast array of merchandise. The addition of DAIMA continues to solidify Dragon Ball as a lasting legacy across generations of fans.
